Banyek 'Vaalea' is the latest Mood Series groundbreaking release from Greyscale. Heralding from Budapest, Hungary born and raised, András Hargitai has been composing music since the mid 1990s. With an almost manical enthusiasm for creating music live, he constantly thinks of way to use his background in radio and synthessises to enhance his productions. 'Juna' and 'Tuuli' are perfect example's of this strategy. An addictive rhythm is the framework to then add key atmospheric messages along the way. The title track breaks up this 5 tracker midway thru for a broken radio interference that crosses beautiful ambient tones with hazy AM frequencies. That transition to the sublime 'Horizontal Alignment' makes for a mesmerizing build to the epic and powerful ender that is 'Orbiter 02'. Using natural sounds, temporal shifts and noise are then combined with an emphasis on dub asthetics with various perception's. These all translate to the overall live performance feel as great examples at the perfectionist goal of András to strive to make the relationship in music to human even more personal. Mood Series #55 is a landmark in next-level dub techno production!!
