The Mood Series continues to march on in 2023 with no signs of slowing down or sacrificing any quality. The 97th edition is from a producer hailing from Hawaii who now resides in Seattle names Stygmata. 'Digital Realm' consists of 5 enthralling pieces that the artist envisions a direction that these are more for the dancefloor than the casual listening styles dub techno. The dancefloor indeed. Each track has their place during a main room's liftoff. 'Autonomous' is a heavy driver that clearly means business. A pounding kick drum is urged on by the sounds of dark tinged swelling chords. The tension is rich. The title track calm the nerves as it washes over you. The pinpoint kick drum is felt deep in your chest as the track teases the listener with the build. However, 'Broader Horizons' on the other hand, goes full board 110% peak time with this dancefloor destroyer. Epic! 'Distant Reverie' is another burner with no letup in sight. And another with 'Synapse'. Crushing dub techno peak timers for the headstrong. 'Digital Realm' gets the blood flowing. If you want heart pounding techno dub techno beats, look for Stygmata and Mood Series #97.
