about

Greyscale latest full length album and #12 for the label is coming from standout and familiar producer Gradient. Titled "Dub Harmonics", this is his 3rd album for Greyscale and when we asked about this threesome he replied with: "This is the last album in the trilogy. Or maybe it will not be a trilogy? Who knows..".
Gradient's attention to harmonics and the melodics of dub techno shows how the genre can work so well with the roots of house music. He has filled this album with breezy and addictive hooks to get lost in while the rhythm's work equally well for any deep, hypnotic dance floor. And while many releases in this genre fail with too much attention to the individual sounds, this one succeeds with its focus on character and emotion. An album that is as much for house music lovers as it is for dub techno ones. One of the brightest moments in this genre. If you get one dub techno release this year, this is the one to have! Epic tracks throughout!!!
