We are pleased to have Altone back to the Mood Series. #6 in the series overall, Altone prepared for us three tracks of heavenly syncopated classic sounding dub techno. 'Optoacoustic' is a master class in how to build a hypnotizing journey where you can get lost in any particular sound you wish to. Evolving to a pristine beauty, it has the ability to impress any chin-stroking fan that thinks the genre doesn't have fantastic newer producers ready to lead a new generation. 'Solar System' is as vast sounding as the title would suggest. Atmosphere and deepness are words often used a lightly. Here, it's the only words to use. Amazing! The title track 'Minimum Random', closes out the EP and uses a cold, stark minimalism to achieve a satisfying conclusion. Altone is setting imaginations on fire with this one!
