2023 has been a great year at Greyscale. It has been productive, exciting and rewarding all the same. We wouldn't be anywhere without the artists and the fans that have made the label what it is. Thank you! We wish everyone happy holidays in 2023 and let's make 2024 a great one. Our final release for 2023 sees the long-awaited return of Audhentik to the label but this time featured on #105 of the Mood Series. "Dusk & Dawn" comprises 5 separate tracks that each then have an alternate ambient version that embellishes the original. 'Magnitude' soars briskly in the upper stratosphere with hazy and shimmering high-end effects that wonderfully offsets the up-beat techy rhythm. This can certainly be the pinnacle of a deep grooving dancefloor set if played properly. 'Afterglow' is yet another strong groover that we have a hard time not repeating. It is the quintessential crowd mover in any proper club. It is a sound that you just wish would go on and on. Do not miss 'Blue Hour' as it rises from the depths to provide the scintillating and very ideal tech workout. 'Noctilucent Clouds' and 'Belt of Venus' are the most low-slung tracks of the bunch with a deep-rooted dub feel. These have us feeling most ire. The second half of the program explores deeper, beatless moments of each main track. We particularly like that they aren't just beatless versions but each one explores a more organic, melodic or processed approach that expands upon and fills out the album nicely. We are glad to have Audhentik back and what a way to close out 2023!! Thank you all again for your relationship to Greyscale. Please help us spread the sound further in 2024! "Dusk & Dawn" is released on digital.
