The Mood Series continues to push out some of the coolest dub techno sounds out. And many are from new and upcoming artists from around the world. Mood Series #56 comes from another new face. This time, one out of Germany named Armin Bender. While new to releasing music, he has been an avant follower of electronic music for 30 years and a dj for 20. While dabbling with making music for many years, the 'Parameter' EP is his first foray to be featured in public on a label. We are very excited to present this on limited vinyl dubplate and digital. 'YXC' certainly gives off the immediate Basic Channel inspiration while a friendly bassline helps the pace to be a successful dancefloor piece. 'Sphere 2' straddles a fantastic balance between serious and light-hearted dub-tech reminiscent of classics from Savvas Ysatis. 'New Era' is one of the deepest track here. A hazy sheer of static interference covers a growing monster of dub techno goodness. This groove was no doubt a perfect candidate to find the way to a dubplate! The title track brings it all home with perhaps the most addictive groove. Armin comes out strong on his debut EP. Get this quickly before it's digital only!
