Mood Series #54 is out! This is the second showing for Nicolas Barnes in the series. This one is titled 'Erase the Past', featuring three smooth vibing dub tech tracks. 'Dream About You' is so ideal for the dancefloor. It has a relentless groove that has no trouble pulling in your concentration too. A fine mix of body and mind. 'Erase the Past' isn't shy with it's tight wall-shaking bass either. There is much to admire here. The restraint is key even though the peak vibes are here. Almost making these subliminal rockers that over repeat listens expose more and more depth.
'The Abyss' leaves you wanting for more. Highly addictive chords that meld inbetween this tech monster. Nicolas focuses on a great balance of tight production and layering textures. Neither ones takes the lead. Both work in harmony. If you are looking for some dancefloor standouts in the genre, look no further than 'Erase the Past'!
