The Mood Series continues the strong run of next generation dub techno releases. This time, we travel down south to find Taction, our label's second experience with a dub techno artist from Australia. 'Blurred', has this Sydney based producer thinking back to old memories which are now blurred with time. It features two killer chord heavy gems and two ideal drivers for the dancefloor. The first two songs are inspired by his weekly scenic bus rides that Taction used to take on that South Korean freeway. 'Pangyo IC' is heavily chord based and up front and in your face with vast shimmering washes of delay. Reflective, with a deep hitting bass makes this a strong attention getting opener. 'Bus Bus' adds even more atmosphere while also introducing some wonderfully strange and fun sound elements here and there to deepen the focus. 'Desires', is that perfect long building dub techno track that perfectly encapsulates you into a deep trance as the chords release and the melody washes away. 'Sudden' bounces along nicely while a balance of swirling static pulses offset nice early M-series style accents. Mood Series #60 is another standout edition! There is something in here for every type of dub techno fan. Check it out!
